Failure to Launch: Emotional Intelligence for Women in Business
Oct 27, 2025
You ever put your whole heart into something and watch it not take off the way you imagined?
That’s where I am right now.
I launched Walk + Tawk Wednesdays, a $33-a-month ritual for women who want to walk, breathe, talk, and connect... and as of right now, I have one sign-up.
Just one.
What’s funny is, more people said they were signing up.
And I believe them.
I celebrated early, like I always do, because I believe in energetic commitments. And that’s not wasted energy, I’ll celebrate again when they come in, and even if they don’t.
Because no matter which way something goes, the celebration is never in vain.
But this time, it’s quiet.
I could look at the numbers, the engagement, the ad performance, and say:
“This isn’t working.”
A good, data-driven businessperson might.
They’d look at the metrics and call it refinement, pivot fast, protect your ad spend, and move on to what performs. And that’s valid for some people.
But then there are people like me.
Women who left the traditional working world because we were tired of building things we didn’t believe in.
Women who are neurodivergent, who move in creative, non-linear timing.
Women who care just as much about meaning as we do about profit.
And yes, profit and purpose can co-exist. They should. But sometimes, that alignment takes longer to land than what business books or marketing gurus prepare you for.
Building Brick by Brick
When you’re building something new... a vision, a community, a next evolution of your brand... it doesn’t just appear. It has to be built brick by brick in reality.
And that’s where a lot of people lose heart.
Because brick-by-brick building is slow. It’s uncertain. It asks you to keep believing long after it makes sense.
I could refund my one member. I could call it a “test that failed.” But I won’t.
Because I left the traditional world so I could build on my own terms, and my timeline doesn’t look like anyone else’s.
Sometimes I’m lightning fast.
Sometimes I’m a late bloomer.
But I’m always devoted.
That’s what emotional intelligence looks like in business: staying grounded in what you know is right for you, even when external data doesn’t validate it yet.
The Hard Part About Selling What’s Good For Women
It’s funny, my erotic embodiment programs like Hot Erotic Messy Money or The Whore Crawl always sell fast, because pleasure energy sells.
But what’s harder to sell?
Getting women to do what they know is good for them, but isn’t as flashy.
Walk + Tawk Wednesdays is about nervous system care, not dopamine hits.
It’s about real connection, not performance.
And that’s a harder sell... because it’s real. It requires vulnerability, presence, and courage to show up for yourself.
It’s for women who are tired of doing life alone. Women who have outgrown old circles. Women who crave something deeper... a space to be seen, heard, and celebrated without having to perform.
Isolation is painful.
Connection can be scary.
And sometimes, the scariest part is hoping again.
Why I’m Building This Anyway
This offer came from my own need.
I’ve been isolated since going back to college, sitting in front of a computer most of the day. I moved to a small desert town for my husband’s work. I left behind my in-person communities in Florida.
I’ve met incredible women here, but I still feel like the New Yorker who talks too fast and moves differently. I miss walking, talking, connecting — being in motion and conversation at the same time.
That’s why I called it Walk + Tawk (T-A-W-K). Because it’s that raw, real, human way we connect when we stop editing ourselves.
It’s not about fixing anyone. It’s not about performance. It’s a space where we get to be — where we bring our real selves into community and practice nervous system care through movement, breath, and conversation.
And that’s what the world needs more of.
The Offer That’s Bigger Than the Offer
Sure, it’s $33 a month. But the truth is, low-ticket offers aren’t always easier to sell than high-ticket ones.
It’s not about the price — it’s about readiness.
Not everyone is ready to slow down. Not everyone is ready to show up in community that isn’t driven by urgency, comparison, or external validation.
But for the woman who is ready, this will meet her exactly where she is.
Walk + Tawk Wednesdays is a movement in the making. One Wednesday. One woman. One conversation at a time.
Emotional Intelligence in the Quiet
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Every offer has its own soul.
Some things explode overnight. Others grow like roots, slow and steady.
I used to make that mean something about me... that I wasn’t good enough at business or marketing. Now I know that slow doesn’t mean failure.
Slow means depth.
Sometimes what looks stagnant is actually taking root so it can sustain.
That’s where I am.
Anchoring.
Believing.
Choosing to stay with what I love.
Because I know what it feels like to be alone and I know what happens when women stop pretending and start connecting again.
It’s magic. It’s healing. It’s everything.
So yeah, maybe my launch didn’t launch (yet).
But it’s still a success, because I’m building something that matters.
